Wheelwright Museum
Born in 1946, Ray is the son of Ike and Tonita R. Lovato. He began helping his mother and father with their jewelry-making when he was eleven years old.
Ray is known for his use of a wide variety of stones and a huge range of different turquoise, specializing in natural, untreated turquoise. He makes jaclas and nugget drop earrings, as well as single and multi-strand necklaces, some with tabs or tab pendants. His beads are handmade.
Ray has won many awards in the Santa Fe Indian Market.
