ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Born and raised in the American Southwest, Jesse Robbins crates tufa-cast ingot, hand-wrought coin-silver jewelry. Sourcing turquoise himself directly from his own mining claims in remote corners of Nevada, Jesse sculpts and sets stone into his one-of-a-kind jewelry.

We are excited about Jesse’s return following his presentation to the Friends in May 2022.

This time Jesse will be joined by Olin Tsingine (Navajo/Hopi) from Tuba City, Arizona. Trained as a pilot, Olin is known for his inlay work of gem-grade coral and turquoise in his tufa-cast bracelets and rolled bead necklaces.

In addition to presenting their work, both artists will speak about sourcing the increasingly scarce stones and materials that are central to their practice.

Both artists will be bringing pieces for purchase.
