The Wheelwright Museum is pleased to present Eye Candy: Visual Treats from the Permanent Collection in the Schultz Gallery, opening to the public on January 20, 2018 and on view through April 15, 2018. Join us as we celebrate recent additions to our renowned collection of Native American jewelry, lapidary, and silversmithing. A delightful selection includes gemstone necklaces by Yazzie Johnson and Gail Bird, old and new Zuni fetish carvings, mid-century smoking paraphernalia and barware, and spurs by Clyde “Sunny Skies” Hunt; as well as works by Fred and Frank Peshlakai, McKee Platero, Perry Shorty, Liz Wallace, and many more.
