Those of you who have tried to access the Wheelwright in the last couple of weeks know that it hasn’t been easy. In addition to work on our new wing–and the accompanying big trucks, torn-up walkways, and blocked entrances–we’re also installing an exciting new exhibition with Will Wilson, scheduled to open to the public on Saturday, May 11.
Today we celebrate the topping off of our new building–a major milestone in any construction project. And because we’re the Wheelwright, we’re celebrating with lots of food! (As I write this, the aroma of barbecue smoke permeates the curatorial office.)
