Description
“Winter in the Pecos” is an original painting by Pop Pina, Red Flower (Betty Jean Hopkins, 1926-1995, Taos Pueblo), painted circa 1970-1980s.
The painting depicts a doe and buck in a snowy forest. Note the fine details in the style of her mother, Pop Chalee. She was not as prolific as her mother, making her pieces more difficult to find. In excellent condition.
