Wheelwright Museum Shipping Policies and Details
The rates quoted here apply only to the contiguous 48 states of the United States. If you are ordering from outside that area, purchasing multiple items, or require expedited shipping, please call the Case Trading Post at 1-505-982-4636 or 1-800-607-4636, ext. 110 for assistance. Hours are 7 days a week, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Mountain Time. If you want to order multiple items online, the total shipping cost will be reviewed when we complete your order, and any excessive shipping charges will be refunded to your credit card.
While our quoted shipping prices may appear high, all shipping prices listed on the site include appropriate materials and careful packing to get your item to you safely, as well as the appropriate insurance for their value. Many of our items are delicate and require special packing and sometimes double boxing. Our experienced staff members know how to pack to ensure their protection. Please follow carefully any instructions included in the box when it arrives.
Because we use UPS and Federal Express as our shippers, we must have a physical address and phone number to deliver your package. We do not ship parcels to post office boxes.
An e-mail address is not required to place your order. However, providing an e-mail address will result in better options for communications with a shipper in the event that there is a problem with delivery. We will also be able to provide a tracking number.
Orders will be shipped within 3 business days, and often more quickly. The amount of time for the package to arrive at your home or place of business depends on where you live and generally ranges from 2-7 business days. Extreme weather conditions may cause shipping delays that are beyond our control; please allow for extra time in that event.
On the Museum Shop tab, there is an option to set up Your Account. It is not required to place an order, but if you do so, you will be able to review previous order information and track your orders.
Wheelwright Museum members are eligible for a 10 percent discount on all items except memberships. If you wish to become a member and order items at the same time, your discount will not show on the original order, but we will refund the discount to you when we process your order. We will also send you the promotional code to receive your discount on future orders, via e-mail if you provide one, and in the letter with your membership card.
If you take a discount online but are not a current member, we reserve the right to charge you for the mistaken discount when we process your order, using the credit card information you have provided.
No refunds – store credits only. Items must be returned within 7 days of delivery. A restocking fee of 10% of the pre-discount purchase price will be charged on all returns or layaway cancellations.
