The Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian (WMAI) has openings for museum docents in 2026! If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a volunteer docent, we will be accepting applications until February 9 for docent training this calendar year.
You can apply by completing an application here on our WMAI website. Be sure to hit “submit.” Completed applications are due by February 9. Submit any questions to info@wheelwright.org.
Applicants will be invited to coffee at the museum on January 26 to meet museum staff, the docents, and Friends Council representatives.
You will learn about the roles and responsibilities of docents at that time and review the training curriculum that begins on February 23. Join us!
