About the curators:
Will Riding In (Pawnee/Santa Ana Pueblo) is the Curator of Collections
and Engagement at the Wheelwright Museum. He has extensive background working with Pueblo pottery collections, Southern Plains ledger art, and early 20th-century Native American painters. He applies an Indigenous lens, framework and artist-based perspective in his curatorial work and research. He holds an MA in Museum Studies from the University of New Mexico.
Hadley Jensen is the Curator of Collections and Research at the Wheelwright Museum. Through an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach, her work
explores the intersection of visual art, anthropology, and material culture with a focus on Native North American art. She has a particular interest in textiles and dress, and she is the co-curator and editor of Horizons: Weaving Between the Lines with Diné Textiles (Museum of New Mexico Press, 2024). She holds an MA and PhD from Bard Graduate Center in New York.
