Join us June 22 at 10:30am as we host artist Rosemary “Apple Blossom” Lonewolf from Santa Clara Pueblo. She is an award-winning artist who works in the medium of clay and is well known for her sgraffito pottery, a technique where she etches designs onto fired pottery. Lonewolf’s work has been featured in several permanent collections throughout the USA, and temporary exhibitions.
This member event will feature a conversation with Rosemary Lonewolf (Santa Clara Pueblo). Lonewolf will speak about her experiences working collaboratively with Tony Jojola (Isleta Pueblo) for nearly 25 years. In addition, she will talk about her own artistic practices and share some insight into her work, which is featured in the exhibition Master Glass: The Collaborative Spirit of Tony Jojola.
This conversation facilitated by curator Will Riding In (Pawnee/Santa Ana Pueblo)
Rosemary “Apple Blossom” in her studio.
