2025 Docent Training

Share your skills, insights and passion with a wide group of visitors!

The Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian has openings for museum docents!  If you would like to be a volunteer docent, we will be accepting applications until October 1^st for docent training this year.  Complete an application, either online, by emailing a completed application to info@wheelwright.org or in person, by bringing a completed application to the museum, by October 1^st.   Applicants will be invited to coffee at the museum on October 7th, 2025 to meet museum staff, the docents, and members of the Friends Council. You will learn about the roles and responsibilities of docents at that time and review the training curriculum that begins on 20 October.  Join us!
