We will be closed to the public December 22-25, 29,30 and January 1. Closed July 4, and Thanksgiving Day.
Every first Sunday of the month, admission to the museum is typically free to the public. Check this website and social media for exact dates and details.
Admission is complimentary for museum members, Native Americans (First Nations), children under the age of 12, students with a valid student id, and active duty military year-round.
Blue Star Museums offer free admission to active-duty military, including Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, National Guard, and Reserve members, with up to five family members, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Additionally, the Wheelwright Museum offers free admission to active duty military year-round.
The Wheelwright Museum welcomes visitors of all abilities to experience our exhibits. If accommodations are needed, please give us a 2-week notice.
Services available: Large Print, Braille, American Sign Language Interpretation, Assistive Listening Systems, Wheelchair Access.
Service animals are welcome at the museum.
Docent tours are available Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11am to 2pm.
